About this deal

In some ways I really enjoyed this sequel more than its predecessor–in some, I miss the first book and its simplicity of Estrella and Caelum finding love.

The Mistwatch have sworn to prevent us from crossing Alfheimr and entering Fae Soil, even at the cost of the innocent with their lives. Looking back, these books honestly feels like prequels with overwhelming set-up and background hints. we don't like creeps in this household yeah but I feel like there was a smarter way to get rid of him? The one part that I really enjoyed was actually when Estella had to hide who she was when this one of Mabs favorite soldiers came snooping around their little band heading to the Fae world.

Should the day come when she died her true death without me, I would accompany her to the Void to await the final judgment of The Father and The Mother. This was just as bad as the first book, I mean by this point I should feel something for the male mc other then hate right? She even describes that she’s in pain but you know she just has to do this for him so he won’t hurt anyone else. On a separate note, every time Estella and Caelum had conversations about covering each other in cum so that everyone around them knew they were mated I wanted to bend the laws of time and CRAWL back to a moment where I wasn't even a cell in my mothers body.

Though one amazing thing came out of all this by the end: Lord Byron (I listened to the audiobook I have no idea how to spell anyone's name) is NO MORE. Listen - I'm not going to sit here and say that Caelum is perfect, and Estrella is a mega-bitch that doesn't deserve him.I said, shaking my head with a bitter smile as I tore my eyes off his lips and tried to shake off the desire I had to feel his mouth on mine and have his arms around me, surrounding me with warmth once more. On a complete sidenote in the most spoilery of comments: OMG there was a solid few hours when I legitimately thought the hero and the heroine were STEPSIBLINGS. We actually made a round about circle to all the places in the previous book which was unbearably boring to me.

There were some dramatic moments but overall, the book consisted of them sitting on horses, having some spicy time, both losing their temper, and then some more traveling. I didn’t have the heart to tell him that I’d merely been curious; it wasn’t out of some grand act of faith the way it was for the others. I did enjoy this book and of course, I still want to read the next book coming out in the series but I'm just hoping that number three will have some more action and creative spicy scenes! on the other hand, in terms of actual days it's too little for what actually happens with feelings and how the fmc feels about the mmc, for how the feelings progress and where we end up.There are also a few more of certain supporting characters that added a lot to the story and I look forward to seeing how they will play into the overall story in the upcoming books. It really felt dragging and once or twice I thought about DNF´ing but decided to power my way through it.
